Cutting Edge Conference FAQs

Have a question about registration, travel, or conference activities? We can help! Below we have answered some of the most Frequently Asked Questions about attending Cutting Edge.

How do I register for Cutting Edge?

Registration will be open soon.

For additional questions, please contact UCA Customer Service at 720.738.4085 or via email at cs@smenet.org or meetings@smenet.org. To receive the lowest registration rates, UCA must receive your registration form and full payment by October 10, 2024. After October 11, 2024, rates escalate. On-site registration fees apply November 12, 2024.

How can I get a copy of an invoice or receipt?

To download a copy of your registration receipt, please visit www.smenet.org, login to your account using your email and password, visit My Profile and view My Meetings. Click on View Registration to obtain a copy of your receipt.

You may also contact Meetings at meetings@smenet.org or Customer Service at 720.738.4085 or cs@smenet.org with receipt/invoice inquiries.

If I pre-register, when do I receive my badge and conference materials?

All badges and conference-related materials will be distributed onsite at the Cutting Edge registration desk located at the HOTEL CLEVELAND in the Grand Ballroom Foyer.

What does my full conference registration include?

The registration fees include participation in all technical sessions, daily coffee breaks, daily lunches and networking reception.

When does on-site registration for attendees open?

Onsite registration will open Monday, November 18 at 7:00 am, located in the Grand Ballroom Foyer at the HOTEL CLEVELAND.

Is there a one-day registration option for Cutting Edge?

All registrations are full program registrations; one-day registration is not available

How do I change my address or other contact information?

To edit your contact information, please visit www.smenet.org, login to your account using your email and password, visit My Profile and view My Contact Information. Click on Edit button next to either your address or phone number to edit your contact information.

You may also contact Meetings at meetings@smenet.org or Customer Service at 720.738.4085 or cs@smenet.org with questions about updating your contact information.

What is the refund and cancellation policy for conference registration?

If circumstances require you to cancel your Cutting Edge registration you must do so in writing. Written notice must be sent to meetings@smenet.org no later than October 17, 2024 to receive a full refund, less a $100 (USD) processing fee. There are no refunds for no-shows and cancellations received after October 17, 2024.

Why should I stay at the official meeting hotel?

The Cutting Edge official hotel is the HOTEL CLEVELAND. Cutting Edge has arranged for special discounted hotel room rates of $189.00 for the duration of the conference. Housing will open soon.

How will PDHs be awarded?

A certificate will be emailed within two weeks of the conference. 1 hour = 1 PDH.

Will presentations from the conference be available to attendees?

Presentations we have permission to share will be emailed to attendees, in PDF format, within two weeks of the conference.
